Mulit-Zone Systems |
Whole House Audio:
You
can categorize Multi-Room audio into
three categories:
-
Second
Zone: This allows a user to select the source you would listen
to and distribute that sound to another
room (Second Zone). Many new receivers
on the market now offer Second Zone
features. With this ability to control
one source of audio in a second zone
this feature is considered the most
affordable solution. This feature also
allows you to select a different source
in the second zone and usually gives you
some form of volume control.
-
Volume
Control: Many distributed audio
systems are designed in this way. You
take a single source and distribute that
sound through a multi-channel amplifier
or speaker selector to one or more rooms
of speakers. This sends a constant power
to that room where volume controls allow
the user to control the volume in that
specific room.
-
Source
Control/Volume Control:
Multi-Source/Multi-Zone Controllers.
With these types of systems your
imagination is really only the limit to
what can be accomplished. The
solutions that we offer have a wide
range of possibilities. In a typical
installation the home owner is provided
the ability to listen to multiple
sources of audio in different rooms of
the house. In addition, multiple rooms
of speakers can be combined into one
zone so you can have the ability to
control them as one room.
